We will be looking for creative ways to get Green Patriot designs out to the widest possible audience.
Project Number 1: On July 4th, 40 busses will hit the streets of Cleveland with banners designed by world-famous (and Cleveland-born) designer Michael Bierut. These banners will promote the use of mass transit and the development of green jobs. The banners are part of a new environmentalism — one that sees action to address climate change as an imperative to protect both the American and world economies.
Green Patriot Posters is soliciting inspiring posters from designers, artists, photographers, and advertising agencies around the world. These posters will be featured here as they are submitted in the coming weeks. Participants include Todd St. John (Hunter Gatherer), Vllg, Kevin Lyons, Jeremy Dean, The Design Office, Rob Giampietro, Nicholas Hans, Clint Woodside, and many more to come. Check back soon.
In September Green Patriot Posters will launch an online competition. Participants will be able to submit Green Patriot Poster designs, as well as to view and vote on posters from the rest of the online community.
